Did I say two tornados?

Of course I meant 4!!! Tornado´s at the same time. Luckily 2 did not get to shore. But it was complete chaos again, more water, less wind than last friday. The local newspaper has some shocking pictures of places TOO close to me (the bridge to my work, the street below). But on hindsight it was a VERY fortunate decision to buy a house in one of the oldest parts of the town, where they constructed on the safest (highest) grounds, before the started filling in the attractive land in the ´torrentes´ (normally dry except when it rains and lately overflowing) or near sea. And also fortunate I never got round to buying a garage for the car (most are flooded with mud and yuk). So, I feel lucky today:-)

Ja dit vond ik ook de leukste foto. Of die daarna, dat je hem van voren ziet met ´McDrive´ nog groot eronder. Het erge is alleen dat in deze auto 2 kinderen zaten terwijl de ouders binnen aan het afhalen waren. Belachelijk!!!! Maar ik geloof dat dat goed ging. De keer erna (dit is de 1e tornado), is er wel een dode gevallen, een Deense vrouw die uit dacht te moeten stappen toen haar auto gegerepen werd door het water. Haar man en kind die wel bleven zitten hebben het overleefd.... ja drama´s.
So Mallorca has water
So Mallorca has water everywhere, apart of being island it has water inland!!! Could you go to work without problems? And what about your house? I heard in Spain, there are some rain alerts between october and november. But it had never been like this. Good luck!
