Una vida Holandesa en Mallorca

Hee, ik blijk vrij te hebben voor Pasen (begin April). Waarom komt er niemand buurten? Het is hier lekker zonnig en heb extra kamer.
Ik kán ook naar NL/UK of ergens anders komen natuurlijk maar tis hier zo lekker warm. En bovendien ging ik al naar de Noordpool de maand erna. Jullie weten waar me huis woont!

Some weeks ago we went on Easter Holiday. It was a real adventure: to get to Italy Giak took the boat with the car and we (the rest of the family) took the plane in the morning. To go back we switched, I drove the car on the boat while the rest went by plane. The disadvantages of living on an island. We drove 2000 km in total, stopping quite often so Lucas could crawl over dirty restaurant floors. We stopped by the restaurant of my brother (cleanest floor I saw;-). Actually it was a big succes, apart from the fact that driving really long hours with babies is not an option everything went perfect. Once in Italy we joined the procession to give the statue of the Christ some air. And the next day there was a show for children. The remaining hours we used to eat and drink and sleep (but that doesn´t mean I am rested after the holidays) and spend with family. My mother-in-law lives in a really beautiful but also a bit rural place: one night a cow got stuck between our parked car and a wall and sat on the hood:-( The garage tried to repair the dented part but hey we live in Spain and actually it gives our super-normal car some ´character´ (and now we finally recognize it;-) Photo´s on Flickr.....
