Una vida Holandesa en Mallorca

We´re back. Just in time to enjoy the spectacle of two trucks of the firebrigade and a huge cloud of smoke on the house opposite in the street (wind blowing our way). Lucky it didn´t seem to be serious and after a few minutes the calm returned. Our house was cold and humid. Fungus on various parts of the house. Stale smell, you know what I mean. Two weeks is obviously too long to leave a house unoccupied. Took us some hours to blow some heat in the room. Today we discovered they broke into the car and stole the documentation. Which I never leave in the car but we were meant to go to the yearly inspection which we didn´t do because of lack of time but forgot to take out the papers. A nice welcome back....
In Italy it was seriously cold outside but at least nice and cosy inside. Now we are facing the reverse: outside okay but inside humid and chilly........ At least the water doesn´t seem to be charged with electricity like it was before we left. Mysterious........
