San Sebastian 2010

Maybe you´ve seen the pictures in Facebook or Flickr already. Last week was the yearly party of Palma, celebrating the name day of its patron Saint, San Sebastian. Wednesday there was the traditional ´torrada´ or bbq in the streets. I didn´t join the carbonisation of sausages but joined the drinking and later correfoc in ses voltes, underneath the cathedral. Dancing with demons:-) This saturday there was the (a bit more quiet) official parade of correfoc of Palma and the fireworks at the cathedral. The advantage of having a ´Spanish´ baby is that you get to take him to the fireworks even if they are at night. Lucas was impressed but not scared (as long as he was close to me, his father went of dancing with demons). Sunday we erased the last traces of a decent education by going to drink chocolate milk with the parents of the baby wave of my work. None of the babies seemed too interested while Lucas managed to drink 2 mugs of chocolate within 5 minutes............. Anyway. This week we will try again hahahahaha
